About

Who is behind NIE Tenerife

NIE Tenerife is an independent service that helps people sort out the NIE, and the paperwork that surrounds it, on Tenerife: from Santa Cruz and La Laguna in the north to Adeje and Arona in the south.

The island makes a simple number complicated in its own way. The two main police offices sit at opposite ends of the motorway, the procedures are split between them unevenly, the booking system works by province, and the forms are in Spanish. People lose mornings to an appointment at the wrong office or a fee paid under the wrong box.

We exist to give those mornings back. We look at your situation, tell you which procedure and which office apply, prepare the forms and the fee, help you secure an appointment and brief you before the day. We write in plain English and explain every Spanish term we use.

No uniform, no rubber stamp: we belong to no public body, and every decision on your file is the administration’s. Anything we prepare, you could prepare yourself. What we sell is time, accuracy and someone to ask.

How we work

Four habits, on every file.

  1. We start with the map

North or south, Santa Cruz or Adeje, police or Delegación: we work out where your procedure belongs before anything is booked.

  2. Forms filled for your case

The right form, the right box on the 790-012 and a checklist built around your situation rather than a generic list.

  3. English with you, Spanish at the counter

Every step is explained in plain English, with the Spanish terms the officers use, so nothing gets lost in translation on the day.

  4. Private, and says so

Independent and private. You could file all of it yourself for the tasa alone; we save you the hours and the guessing.

Request help

Tell us which side of the island you are on.

Nationality, town, and what the number is for: from those three answers we can name the form, the office and the next step.

  • North or south: we check which office takes your procedure.
  • EX-15, EX-18, EX-17 or EX-19, prepared for your case.
  • Plain English with you, the right Spanish on the forms.

We answer by email, and what you write serves your request only. More on how your data is used.
