Cita previa extranjería Santa Cruz de Tenerife: Calle Ramón Pérez de Ayala
The Brigada Provincial de Extranjería y Fronteras de Santa Cruz de Tenerife works from C/ Ramón Pérez de Ayala 6, 38007; the police e-office calls it “Comisaría de Tenerife Norte”. The police directory gives it the widest list on the island: NIE certificates and assignment, EU registration (régimen comunitario), TIE issue, return authorisations, students, extensions of stay, non-lucrative residence, asylum and travel documents, as well as invitation letters and nationality reports.
The directory gives its phone as 922 235 634 and no opening hours: the time that counts is the one on the confirmation the cita previa booking system sends you.
Comisaría de Adeje, in Las Terrazas: the south’s office
The Comisaría Sur de Tenerife sits at Sector Cero, Parcela C.N.P., Las Terrazas, 38660 Adeje. For foreigners it lists NIE certificates and assignment, EU registration, extensions of stay, cédulas de inscripción, invitation letters and nationality reports, on two lines: 922 789 114 for the NIE, EU registration, extensions and cédulas, 922 789 123 for invitation letters and nationality reports. TIE issue is not on its list.
It is the only unit the directory gives for the south of the island: none appears in Arona, Los Cristianos or Playa de las Américas.
Huellas TIE Tenerife: where the card is made
Two units on the island list TIE issue: the Santa Cruz brigade and the Comisaría de Puerto de la Cruz - Los Realejos, Avda. José del Campo Llarena 3. Neither Adeje nor La Laguna does. A resident of the south who needs the toma de huellas for a TIE card should therefore count on a trip north, once for the fingerprints and again to collect the card.
Who goes where
- A bare NIE (EX-15) or an EU registration (EX-18): Santa Cruz or Adeje, whichever you reach more easily; La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz list both too
- The TIE (EX-17) and its fingerprints: Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz
- A return authorisation: on Tenerife, Santa Cruz only
- Non-lucrative residence, students, asylum: Santa Cruz
- Invitation letters and nationality reports: Santa Cruz or Adeje
- The family-member card (EX-19): listed by the Delegación’s Oficina de Extranjería on Calle La Marina; the card itself is then a TIE step
Getting there
No official page ties a bus or tram stop to either office. The TITSA stop list published as open data by the Cabildo has no stop named after Calle Ramón Pérez de Ayala, and no official source says which stop serves the Comisaría Sur. Plan the journey from the address itself, with a map, and leave a margin before the time on your confirmation.
The other addresses in the sources
The police directory also lists NIE assignment and EU registration at the Comisaría de La Laguna, C/ Nava y Grimón 66, and at the Comisaría de Puerto de la Cruz - Los Realejos. The province’s fifth unit, in Santa Cruz de la Palma, lists no NIE procedure, and no unit is listed on La Gomera or El Hierro.
On Calle La Marina 20 in Santa Cruz, the Oficina de Extranjería of the Delegación del Gobierno handles residence and work permits and the card for relatives of Europeans. Its own page also names the NIE and the EU certificate, while the police directory keeps those at police units: where the two disagree, your confirmation names the office.
On Tenerife
Stated simply, the split is this: everything the Comisaría Sur lists for foreigners, Santa Cruz lists too, and Santa Cruz adds the TIE, return authorisations, students and non-lucrative residence. For a NIE or an EU registration, the south office is the nearer choice from Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas or Costa Adeje; for anything that ends with a card, plan for the north.
